removing the side reflectors

I need to remove the side reflectors (on the side rails below the seat). Do these have nuts on the back of the rail? Or are they just "snap-ins"? I don't want to damage them as I may want to reinstall them later. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks in advance -

Old, but very helpful. My father, despite my telling him not to, started loosening up one of the side rails to more easily get to the rear signal stalk. I thought he’d retightened it when he couldn’t remove it, but apparently not. When we came back from dinner, the rear seat rest had pulled out of that side rail. So now I have to get it more apart to try a better reassembly. The manual has nothing on this, so I probably would have destroyed the reflector trying to remove it, without knowing about the C-clips!

I bought side reflecters that are LED but have not installed them yet.
Doesn't sound like that's what you need...here's a link anyways:
They can be used to replace the reflecter under the tail and wired into the brake light
Others might be interested though,
just sayin'
:)
Note: sellers put a ten in front of the price when they have no stock just to keep the listing active, the reason the price is $108.99 not the normal $8.99
